The Almaden Cabana is very excited to host a Water Polo Clinic led by Coach Luke Raimondi

About Coach Luke 

Hi I’m Luke Raimondi, I’ve been playing water polo for 11 years and coached at SJA for a year. I currently play club water polo at UCSB and played 4 years at Leland high school. In my time there I led my team to 2 CCS Championship berths and was awarded Section 2nd team, 2x Section Honorable Mention, League MVP, League Senior of the Year, League Sophomore of the Year, Team MVP, and Team Defensive Player of Year. I am incredibly excited to be coaching water polo clinics now and can’t wait to pass on what I’ve learned. 

PREREQUISITES

• Must be 8-18 years of age by the first session date. We have sessions for both boys and girls.
• Must be able to swim 25 yards independently 
• This is NOT a Swim Lessons Class

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Clinics will be broken up into 3 groups: Girls (8-13yrs), Boys (8-13yrs), and High School (boy and girls 14-18yrs)

Whether your swimmer is brand new to water polo or looking to improve their skills, this clinic is the perfect place to learn in a fun, supportive environment. Participants will develop fundamental water polo skills including ball handling, passing, shooting, defensive positioning, and game strategy, all while building endurance, confidence, and teamwork.

Water polo is one of the best cross-training sports for swimmers. It improves speed, strength, agility, treading endurance, and overall water awareness—all while keeping kids active and engaged in an exciting team sport.

Coach Luke creates a positive, high-energy atmosphere where athletes are challenged, encouraged, and most importantly, have fun! This clinic is a great way for swimmers to try something new, stay in the water, and experience one of the fastest-growing aquatic sports.

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY

A Request for Refund, Transfer and Credit Form must be received by the criteria deadlines listed below:
● Cancellations will be charged an administration fee of $10 per session. Please email Coach Luke at Luke.raimondi11@gmail.com. 
● No credits or refunds will be issued for days missed.

Water Polo Clinic Registration

If there's an error processing the credit card payment but you were able to book a session (i.e. you received a confirmation email), please arrive with payment in hand.  Non credit card payments must be made by check (no cash).  Please make check payable to Almaden Cabana Club.  Please write Water Polo Clinic in the memo bar along with the date and time of lesson.  Cancelation/no-show policy still applies.
