One of the cabana club’s benefits is the ability to offer swimming lessons.
While the lessons teach kids how to improve their swimming ability and be safe in the pool, it’s also a great way to start that next wave of exciting Dolphins swimmers! Several of our instructors have come up through the Dolphin ranks and also serve as lifeguards at the pool during the swim season.
Swim lessons are offered both in the springtime, prior to the club opening, and during the summer. In 2015, spring sessions are held on Saturdays and Sundays starting April 25th and run for six weeks (ending May 31). Sign up for lessons here.
The levels of instruction offered range from beginner to intermediate, teaching children how to become accustomed to being in the water, basic freestyle swimming and the more advanced backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly strokes. Stroke analysis classes are offered for those children who have already mastered the basic strokes and may be a more competitive swimmer – remember we’re training future Dolphins!
Depending on the number of children signed up for a session we try to keep classes to a small size to ensure everyone receives the necessary attention to get the most out of the instructions.
If you have any questions regarding the club’s swim lessons please contact the swim lesson coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We can’t wait to see all those new Dolphins at the club!
